TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

My goal as an instructor is to recognize every student as an individual, in order to facilitate their interest and potential in the art field. Effective communication requires an acceptance to the differences of each individual. I attempt to nurture mutual respect and understanding. As an instructor, I recognize my responsibility as a leader and an example to my

students. I impress the value of education and cultural significance of art and craft. I assist students in developing their own concept of art and realizing their own unique vision. I have successfully awakened artistic abilities and nurtured the continued development of those pursuing ceramics as a craft.
